I'd rather lose a customer now than mislead one.
- Domain registration and renewal (your domain stays yours; I connect it, I don't own it, and renewals are yours unless we agree otherwise)
- Routine content changes
- Ecommerce
- Booking-system setup
- Bespoke integrations
- Enquiry or review automation (that's the separate Managed Lead System)
- SEO campaigns
- Advertising
- Guaranteed rankings, traffic, enquiries or sales. Nobody honest guarantees those.
Any of the above can be discussed separately and quoted honestly. What I won't do is sell you a package that quietly promises them.
How You Actually Start It
You don't pay for Website Care on this website, on purpose. First you apply for the free website and see it finished on your reveal call. If you want it hosted and looked after, we agree Website Care together on that call, and I set it up personally afterwards. Your service starts when I confirm it's active, not a moment before. Payment is arranged with me directly, never through a form.
Your Domain, Your Files, Your Call
- Your domain stays yours throughout. I connect it; I never own it.
- Your website files are yours. On Website Care or not, you can ask for a full static export at any time.
- Website Care is rolling monthly. Cancel with 30 days' notice and I hand over the export; hosting then stops at the end of the notice period.
- One honest limit: the contact form in the exported files won't deliver messages until you arrange your own form handling. I'll say it again on the call, because I'd rather you know now.
Who Website Care Suits
It suits you if…
- You want your website live and working without ever touching hosting, SSL or backups
- You want enquiries from the site to actually reach you
- You'd rather email a person than open a support ticket with a platform
- £24 a month feels fair for “someone else deals with all of it”
It doesn't suit you if…
- You're happy to self-host the free files yourself (genuinely fine, and I'll include instructions)
- You want ongoing content changes, SEO campaigns or advertising included (those are separate conversations, honestly priced as such)
- You need ecommerce or a booking system (quoted separately)
Website Care Questions
What is Website Care?
The optional service where I look after your website: managed hosting, SSL, your own domain connected, a working contact form, monitoring, backups, and technical support if anything goes wrong. It doesn't include content changes, SEO campaigns, advertising, or automation; those are separate conversations.
How much is Website Care, and how do I pay for it?
£20 + VAT a month, which is £24 a month at the current VAT rate, with no setup fee. We agree it together on your reveal call and I set it up personally afterwards. You can't pay for it on this website, deliberately: nothing is charged before you've seen your finished website.
Can I host the website myself?
Yes. You can receive a static export of your website files and arrange your own hosting, and I'll include short instructions to help. The site is yours to keep either way.
Do I own my website?
The website files are yours. If you're on Website Care and you leave, I hand over a full static export. Your domain, your content and your photos stay yours throughout. You won't be held hostage.
What happens if I cancel Website Care?
It's rolling monthly with 30 days' notice. At the end of the notice period hosting stops and I hand over a full export of your files. One honest limit: the contact form in those files won't deliver messages until you've arranged your own form handling. That's the practical edge of self-hosting, and I'd rather you know it now.
Is Website Care required to get the free website?
No. The website files are yours whether you take Website Care or not. Care is simply the option where I keep the site hosted, monitored and working for you. Choosing the free files instead costs nothing and loses you nothing.
