What we do
Design, build and planting, by one studio
Most landscaping problems start when the designer and the builder have never met. Here they share a sketchbook, a van and a strong opinion about levels.
Patios & porcelain paving
Porcelain, sandstone and clay pavers on a full mortar bed with proper falls. Cuts set out before fixing, never made up as we go.
Planting schemes
Layered, year-round borders chosen for your soil and aspect — not whatever the nursery had on offer that week.
Decking & pergolas
Oak and hardwood structures, built with mortise-and-tenon joints where it matters. Composite decking for low-maintenance gardens.
Garden lighting
Low-voltage schemes that pick out trees, steps and water — designed in from the start so cables go under the paving, not over it.
Lawns & turfing
Properly prepared ground, laser-levelled, with cultivated turf or wildflower alternatives. The difference shows by the second summer.

Ask about maintenance
From sketch to garden
A clear, fixed-fee path from the first conversation to the first morning coffee outside.

Design visit
We walk the garden together, talk about how you want to use it, and take levels, soil samples and photographs.
II
Concept & plan
A scaled masterplan with materials, planting style and 3D visuals. We revise until you'd happily frame it.
III
The build
Our own landscaping team, a fixed price and a programme you can hold us to. We protect lawns and access routes as we work.
IV
Planting & handover
The designer plants the borders personally, then hands over a care calendar. We return after the first season to check everything has taken.
Seasonal maintenance plans
Monthly or quarterly visits to prune, feed, edge and keep the design intact — so the garden in year five still looks like the drawing.

We take on a limited number of builds each year within about 30 minutes of the studio, so the designer can be on site most days.
